What You’ll Be Doing
* Developing cost‑effective mechanical design solutions for integration into our product range.
* Managing and maintaining accurate component and technical data throughout the design lifecycle.
* Building, testing, and evaluating prototypes to verify performance and design intent.
* Working closely with experienced senior mechanical design engineers to learn, develop, and refine engineering skills.
* Supporting activities related to product approvals, manufacturing equipment issues, and fault diagnostics, including quality cases and production challenges.
* Participating in peer design reviews to ensure high standards of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Create mechanical designs for products and custom manufacturing equipment that meet all required standards and regulations.
* Develop designs based on product specifications or written instructions as part of a project team.
* Produce design documents, test specifications, and related technical information.
* Select suitable materials and components and support their approval process.
* Take part in design reviews to help ensure strong, reliable solutions.
* Build and test prototypes using 3D printing, machining, and other methods.
* Work to company procedures and ISO 9001 quality standards.
* Create detailed parts, assemblies, and drawings using 3D CAD tools.
* Carry out additional tasks as needed to support the business.
