Art Teacher (Permanent - January 2026)

A thriving secondary school and sixth form in the Farnham/Aldershot area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join its team on a full-time or part-time permanent basis from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in a supportive, creative, and values-driven learning environment.

Role Details

Location: Aldershot/Farnham, Surrey (Mixed secondary & sixth form school)

Subjects: Art & Design (KS3-5)

Salary: 34,397 - 52,489 per annum

Position: Art Teacher - Permanent / Full Time or Part Time

Start Date: January 2026


The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to join our successful department. The successful candidate will:

* Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5.
* Deliver engaging, inspiring lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.
* Encourage students of all abilities to explore their artistic potential and develop technical skills.
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and creative initiatives.


Candidate Requirements

* A relevant degree in Art or a related subject.
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3-KS4; KS5 desirable).
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
* A passion for creativity, innovation, and nurturing talent in education.
