The Dacia Sandrider team have an exciting opportunity for a Sub Assembly Supervisor to join them in their quest to win the World Rally Raid Championship in the FIA Ultimate T1 category. A hands-on role working with a team of Technicians, you will coordinate the department's day to day workload, supervising the Sub Assembly team on event and at the factory. Worldwide travel is an essential part of this role and can be up to 3 weeks per event. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain and service all Rally Team sub-assemblies, including gearbox and differential. Manage a team of Sub Assembly Technicians on event and at the factory. Follow detailed build procedures and ensure quality and efficiency. Ensure all lifeing records are maintained and updated throughout the event year as defined by Engineering and the Chief Technician. Plan, coordinate and meet challenging deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective utilisation of staff. Able to work on all events as needed, providing sub assembly support for Dakar and Cross-Country events. Ensure all problems are reported to Engineering and the Chief Technician. Work with the Chief Technician to recruit staff to agreed budget. Ensure skills and training of all Sub-Assembly team is up to date and relevant. Be prepared to work overtime if requested or as the programme requires. Who are we looking for? Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar Supervisory/Lead Sub Assembly role within Motorsport at an FIA World championship level or similar. You will have excellent knowledge of transmission and motorsport sub-assemblies, along with excellent scheduling and planning skills. A team player and strong communicator, you will be able to motivate a team and solve problems in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Adaptability and flexibility to travel to all Rally Raid events is essential. What can we offer you?
