We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Treatment Room Nurse to join our friendly primary care team for 37.5hpw. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients within our busy GP practice and play an important role in delivering treatment room services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in primary care or community nursing who is passionate about patient‑centred care and health promotion.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Wound care and dressing management
* Immunisations and vaccinations
* Cervical screening
* Venepuncture and specimen collection
* Blood pressure monitoring and ECGs
* Health promotion and lifestyle advice
* Chronic disease monitoring and support
* Infection prevention and control activities
* Maintaining accurate patient records using clinical systems (S1)
* Working collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and the wider multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
* Qualified in Child & Adult Immunisation
* Cervical screening
* Chronic disease management
* Wound care management
* Adult and Child Immunisation and vaccination training
* Experience using GP clinical systems
Knowledge & Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Competent in treatment room procedures
* Knowledge of clinical governance and safeguarding principles
* Infection prevention and control activities
* Previous experience in general practice or primary care
* Cervical cytology qualification
