Vision for Education are currently looking for a motivated Primary teacher to take on a Year 1 class for a full academic year, beginning in September 2026.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a key stage 1 teacher who enjoys working in a supportive, community-focused school and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to a Year 1 class, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
2. Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
3. Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
4. Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all learners
5. Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
8. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
9. Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

Salary
£140 to £224 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
