Job Description
We are seeking a project management professional to support the growth of UK capability linked to the Defence Digital UK strategy. The role is based in Newport and requires UK nationals only with UK Eyes‑Only SC clearance.
Key responsibilities include programme support to strategic campaigns, project management for existing and future contracts, maintaining resource forecasts, reporting programme progress, developing communication plans, and impact analysis to support decision‑making at programme meetings.
Security Clearance
UK Eyes‑Only SC, UK Nationals only (No dual nationals).
Travel
Occasional travel within UK and internationally.
Qualifications & Experience
* Project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (MS Project, Jira).
* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proactive and results‑oriented problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, flexible environment.
* Experience mentoring junior team members.
