I’m partnering with a global, market-leading business at the forefront of innovation within consumer and professional products. This is a powerhouse organisation with a strong international footprint, high-performing culture, and a genuine commitment to excellence.
They’re now looking for a diligent, resilient and commercially sharp In-House Legal Counsel to join their EMEA legal team.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where decisions are made quickly and standards are high — this could be your kind of challenge.
This organisation is a global leader in its field, with a portfolio of internationally recognised brands and a presence across manufacturing, product development and distribution worldwide.
With multi-billion-dollar revenues and tens of thousands of employees globally, they operate at pace and pride themselves on innovation, quality and a winning culture. The legal team plays a central role in supporting that growth.
Reporting into the Legal Director (EMEA) with close collaboration across UK and European leadership, this is a broad, hands-on commercial role with real exposure to senior stakeholders.
You’ll be:
Providing day-to-day legal support across multiple EMEA entities
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (supply, distribution, services etc.)
Advising on legal aspects of business projects and commercial roll-outs
Supporting marketing and campaign-related legal documentation
Assisting with signing/closing procedures and execution of documents
Conducting legal research and providing pragmatic guidance
Supporting billing coordination and legal admin processes It’s a role for someone who enjoys variety, ownership and being embedded in the business.
What They’re Looking For
UK qualified lawyer (essential) with 4+ years’ PQE
Prior experience in private practice (strongly preferred), ideally with commercial exposure
Solid grounding in commercial/contract law
Experience in international or multi-jurisdictional environments
Data privacy knowledge (nice to have, not essential)
Competition/cartel law exposure (a bonus, but not required)
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
Strong English language skills (German a plus, but not essential)
Pragmatic, proactive and business-minded
Organised, structured and able to prioritise in a dynamic environment
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team This isn’t a slow-paced, heavily layered corporate environment.
They operate at speed. Standards are high. The business expects solutions — not roadblocks.
You’ll thrive here if you:
Stay calm under pressure
Enjoy being robust and hands-on
Like being close to commercial decision-making
Take ownership and get things done Why Consider It?
Exposure to a truly international business
Direct interaction with senior leadership
A high-performance, ambitious culture
Broad commercial remit with autonomy
Genuine opportunity to make impact If you’re a commercially astute UK-qualified lawyer ready to step into (or further develop within) an international in-house role — I’d love to have a confidential chat.
