Overview
We provide high quality education and care for children with complex needs at Castlefell School, a purpose‑built state‑of‑the‑art facility for children aged 8‑16 with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs and moderate learning needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead safeguarding within the school, liaising daily with statutory and non‑statutory agencies, parents/carers and staff on wellbeing, child protection and safeguarding matters.
* Act as a source of support, advice and expertise for the team, ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are followed and monitored.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years’ experience in a Designated Safeguarding Lead role.
* Comprehensive portfolio of CPD related to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
* Outstanding interpersonal and problem‑resolution skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
