This new role is required to support the 2024/25 Digital Sales and Growth Roadmap working within the delivery team as a Change Manager, providing business readiness skills to the Delivery team, complimenting their technical project plans.
The role holder will:
1. Work across our portfolio of strategic change and consult, drive and promote focus on our people so that our resulting delivery plans anticipate and navigate likely impacts
2. Create strategies and approaches to drive adoption of solutions
3. Consider the people needs in project planning including any deliverables to drive adoption / reduce impacts and emotions. For example; training, communications, business testing and business readiness for Go Live
Main Accountabilities:
4. Develop a change management strategy based on a thorough understanding of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change
5. Work with the Digital Delivery team to support their project plans, adapting to scheduling changes
6. Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the business/end users
7. Develop a Business Transformation Roadmap based on the Sales and Growth deliverables
8. Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
9. Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including sponsor roadmap, coaching plan and resistance management plan.
10. Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders.
11. Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
12. Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilisation and proficiency of individual changes.
13. Build/maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Specialty. Be recognised as a central part of delivery and manage messaging at all levels
14. Work closely with Corporate Communications, Training, Infrastructure and other Core Central Functions to ensure business change deliverables can support all project implementation
Key Skills:
15. A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
16. Proven experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
17. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
18. Experience of working with an extensive and diverse stakeholder group including senior stakeholders and external stakeholders
19. Focus on outcomes and flexibility to manage priorities and resources in order to deliver
20. Exceptional communication skills – both written and oral.
21. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation, providing coaching and support
22. Excellent active listening skills.
23. Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
24. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
