As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted support to students with SEN, contributing to their academic and social development.

Position : SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location : Stanford-le-Hope
Salary Scale : £80-£100
Contract Type : Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
* As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
* As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will adapt learning materials to suit the individual needs and abilities of students.
* Assist with the implementation of behaviour management plans.
* As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will foster positive relationships with students, promoting a sense of inclusion and belonging.
* Collaborate with the wider school team to create an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as an SEN Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
* Understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support individual needs or willingness to learn.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with SEN.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
