Triple West Medical have been appointed by an NHS Trust based in the Midlands area to help recruit a Consultant Dermatologist for a substantive or fixed term contract.
The NHS organisation one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, with a workforce of over 7,000 staff across multiple sites and serving a population of over 300,000 people across the local region.
They are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Dermatologist as part of departmental expansion and continued development of specialised services.
Brief Overview
The Dermatology Department is a large teaching hospital providing a full range of dermatological services for our local population as well as a regional service in paediatric dermatology, phototherapy, contact dermatitis, skin lymphoma and nail disease. As part of an undergraduate and postgraduate teaching Trust, we are the main regional training centre for dermatology trainees.
There will be clinical sessions in general dermatology outpatient clinics, skin cancer clinics and skin surgery sessions. There may be some flexibility in sessions depending on clinical and service demands. Skin cancer surgery is a large part of the departmental remit. Candidates with surgical skills will have full opportunity to be timetabled to undertake surgery at a level suitable for their training and experience.
