TeacherActive is excited to be working with a Primary School in Stechford, who are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from June 2026 until January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with KS1 experience to contribute to the development of young learners in a supportive and well‑established school setting.
The successful KS1 Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high‑quality lessons, as well as taking on all the responsibilities that come with being a full‑time teacher, including marking, assessments, and communicating with parents. You will work closely with a supportive team to ensure that every pupil receives the best start to their education.
The successful KS1 Teacher will have:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Proven experience teaching Year 1 or Year 2 pupils
* Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment procedures
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
