We are seeking a proactive Order Fulfilment Manager to lead and manage the sales order function within a busy manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring customer orders are handled efficiently from enquiry to delivery, while supporting continuous improvement across processes, systems, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the full sales order process, from customer enquiry through to order placement, production planning, and delivery.
* Manage a small team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments to ensure excellent service and communication.
* Support warranty and remedial requests, ensuring issues are managed effectively and resolved quickly.
* Drive process improvements to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and minimise costs (including waste and downtime).
* Monitor and report on KPIs, using data to improve team and business performance.
* Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate documentation.
* Support system use (ERP/MRP, Excel, Word) to coordinate the order process.
* Lead team development through training, performance reviews, and clear communication.
