Overview

The Community Vaccination Service is looking for a team player and experienced HCSW to deliver the school age vaccination programme alongside Covid vaccination delivery to housebound patients and care homes, as well as assisting the admin lead with delegated tasks. Vaccinations are the safest and most effective way of protecting individuals and communities from vaccine‑preventable diseases. Working for the Community Vaccination Service allows you to work as part of a team supporting and promoting the importance of vaccines for this age group and supporting the Integrated Vaccination Service across the Trust.

Applications from candidates that require current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.

Main Duties

* Administer selected vaccines in schools, community clinics, care homes and patient homes.
* Collect vaccines and equipment from vaccine bases.
* Health promotion and vaccine education.
* Community engagement.
* Delegated administration tasks as identified by the admin lead (e.g., running reports, liaising with schools/service users, data collection).
