The Role
* Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience
* Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that promote curiosity and understanding
* Supporting practical lessons with a strong focus on safety and scientific accuracy
* Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
* Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
* Working closely with colleagues within a supportive Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Biology or a closely related subject
* Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
* High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
* A professional, organised, and collaborative approach
