Job Description:
The client is 30 year old Male who is wheelchair user. They are looking for a Charismatic Personal Assistant A good sense of humour is important as they like to have a laugh, joke and a good chat. Someone that is quirky in nature, fun loving and eccentric. They lead quite a busy life; They enjoy the hustle and bustle of having lots of hobbies and activities whilst also enjoying ‘down time is important to them. They love literature, music, art, going out and also a motorcycle enthusiast. A mutual interest is good but not essential. The ability for you to facilitate the life that they want is of vital importance, to make the harder days that little bit easier. They are people person, so they talk to everyone, so having a bubbly personality is good. You need to be able to have fun but take the position seriously. With the nature of work that they do, they are looking for someone to enable them to switch off and relax whilst not at work by outings to the pub and chilling out both at home and venturing out into the community. All Applicants will be subject to a 2 part interview.
Job Purpose & work Duties:
• Assisting me with Domestic tasks e.g. meal preparation (Evenings)
• Shopping visits
• Personal care( as and when required)
• Taking me to appointments: Physio Chiropractor, Hospital
• Assisting with leisure activities some weekends and days and day trips various places seeing friends
• Annual festival.
• Transport to facilities
Supporting with
• Mobility- ***You must hold a Full UK Driving licence and have your OWN vehicle to facilitate getting me around***
• Personal care as and when required
• Overnight Stays at home if illness occurs or days at home if rest is required.
Other requirements
• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
• Establish and maintain effective communication
• Maintaining confidentiality
Location
• Within the employer’s area of Stourbridge
Hours and rate of pay
• £11.44 p/h
• 22 Hrs Per Week
• 88 Hrs Per Month

• Ability to undertake domestic activities
• Flexible, reliable, and honest
• Good general fitness
• An enhanced DBS check will be required
