On an exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Head of Finance to work with a growing business based in Tenbury Wells. There will also be some ad hoc travel to different sites in the UK/ Ireland and Europe. Reporting into the Group FD, duties of the role will include:* Oversee the day-to-day Administration of office.
Lead the finance department, overseeing financial operations, accounting processes, payroll and the finance team Manage and produce all group financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, budget variance analysis, and year-end financial reports Lead the Financial audit with external auditors and produce financial statements ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations Work closely with senior management to develop and control the company's annual budget Manage cash flow and forecasting, develop a reliable cash flow projection process, and reporting mechanism Establish and develop relations with senior management, external partners, and stakeholders. Analyse and manage risk, including credit, market, liquidity and operational risks. Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, offering insights and financial advice that will allow the company to make informed business decisions. Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.Qualifications ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience. This role could suit someone already in industry with a classic accounting background with one of the 'Top 10' accounting firms. Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior role, ideally within a fast-paced or complex business environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings to non-finance stakeholders Strong ability to implement and monitor internal controls Creative reporting capability High attention to detail and accuracy.
