We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 17.00 & Friday 8.30 - 15.00.

Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.
The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the bar high in their highly complex market!
Vacancy Details
In the Senior Quantity Surveyor position, you will play a key role in supporting the Quantity Surveying department, ensuring that the commercial and contractual aspects of complex projects are effectively managed and controlled to meet business demands.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing expert guidance on all commercial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
* Preparing and submitting monthly interim valuations to maintain positive cash flow.
* Managing the financial aspects of subcontract packages, including steel erection, cladding, and metal decking.
* Overseeing cost control, value reporting, and cash flow forecasting to keep projects on track.
Key Skills & Experience
* 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience, ideally within the Structural Steel Sector
* Strong contractual knowledge and a solid understanding of commercial project management.
* Experience handling complex structural steel projects is highly desirable.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent cost management skills.
