Here at BaxterStorey, we have an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated Bid Manager. The role is fun and varied. As the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the tender process for all new business, specifically responding to requests for information, creating, managing, and writing tender bids and proposals, and preparing presentations.

We have a proven track record of developing and nurturing successful business development professionals who started their career as bid writers, now leaders in their field, still enjoying their career and successfully winning fabulous contracts for BaxterStorey.


Responsibilities:

1. Completion of Tender Action Plan upon sight of project in conjunction with Business Development and Operations as appropriate
2. Create high-quality PQQ submissions
3. Manage timeframes for information gathering from our teams, responses, and submissions
4. Liaise with Operations to gather all relevant and specific information to submit winning tenders
5. Attend company innovation and development sessions to gather information and new ideas for inclusion in future projects
6. Create tender responses that meet specific client objectives and protect BaxterStorey's brand
7. Sense check to ensure bids contain the latest and best information
8. Liaise with internal and external design and print companies for marketing visuals, folder designs, and visuals as required
9. Coordinate with proof-readers to ensure all documents are properly checked

Who you are:

* Excellent research, writing, and checking skills, with close attention to detail
* Proficiency with IT packages, specifically Adobe InDesign
* Enthusiasm and confidence to win new business
* Ability to use initiative and collaborate across teams
* Good time-management and organizational skills
* Concern for quality and privacy of information
