Job Description Reporting to: The Apprenticeship Supervisor and Department Manager Job purpose: To support those learners training in Engineering Technical Draughting. It provides a structured individualised route with knowledge and skills for those who wish to achieve a qualification in Engineering Technical Draughting. What will you learn doing this apprenticeship: Gain hands-on experience through a safe workplace placement, providing vocational training and education. Practical on the job training. Operational Experience you will gain Learn how to produce Engineering Drawings/Models using 3D Computer Aided Techniques Learn how to produce Fabrication/Structural Engineering Drawings using Computer Aided Techniques Experience the impact and purpose of the Engineering team and the importance of accurate CAD models during vessel build. Basic training in other shipyard trades to understand the techniques and how they fit into the cycle of building and repairing ships from producing drawing/ 3D model, to launching and delivering the completed vessel.
