Overview
Van Drivers required for our busy Ilton based company with immediate starts. Ongoing work until January as a minimum.
Location: Ilton, Somerset.
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour.
Enhanced rates after 45hrs and 6th shift
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (30-minute unpaid lunch).
The Best Connection are currently seeking a reliable and professional Van Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Responsibilities
* Load and unload cargo securely and carefully
* Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
* Maintain the cleanliness and road worthiness of the van
* Complete all required delivery and vehicle paperwork accurately
* Adhere to traffic laws and all safety regulations
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous experience in a similar delivery or driving role
* Good knowledge of local routes and road safety
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Strong communication and organisational skills
