Raico Recruitment are working with a Planning Consultancy who have a role based with a leading Developer in London. This role is for 2-3 days a week on going, ideally based in their central london office for 1-2 days a week.
This Developer work in the Commercial, Residential and Hotel and Leisure Sectors in Central London and work on projects from £20 - £100 million.
*Job Title: Lead Construction Planner (3 days/week)*

*Salary/Day Rate: Upto £600 a day
*Job Summary:*
As a Lead Construction Planner, you'll play a crucial role in driving the planning and delivery of the construction projects across London. You'll work closely with the development team, project managers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans, including master program development, progress monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Analyze project data, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert planning advice to the development team, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients.
*Requirements:*
- 5+ years of experience in construction planning, preferably in a main contracting or development environment.
- Strong understanding of construction planning principles, including programming, progress monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience working on large-scale (£20-100 million) developments in the UK.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in planning software, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
