Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Masters Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm)
2. Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
3. Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent
4. Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice
5. Experience in hospital pharmacy
Desirable criteria
6. MSc in a relevant subject
7. Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
8. Independent or supplementary Prescriber
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
9. Excellent knowledge and practice of clinical pharmacy in the acute care setting
10. Experience of working within a range of clinical specialities
11. Minimum of four years post registration experience relevant to Hospital Pharmacy with assessed competencies or equivalent qualifications
12. Experience of multi-disciplinary working
13. Contribution to data collection for clinical audit
Desirable criteria
14. Ability to use research findings to develop clinical services /guidelines
15. Experience in providing a clinical pharmacy service to critically ill patients
