This not only allows us to keep up with global demand, it also enables us to grow our crushing and screening business in Europe. We are now one of Omagh’s largest private employers with over 200 team members and we need to continue to grow our team to support our growth.
Product Support Engineer
Reporting to the Product Support Manager, you will be working within a highly skilled and energetic team locally, backed by our North American team filled with a heritage of experience from the Astec brands. This exciting role will be based out of our Omagh site along with our Telestack brand. The role will have a healthy balance of travel activities and factory based activities. Travel activities will include set up, commissioning, training and problem solving around our mobile crushing and screening machines. Factory based activities will include supporting our new product development team, assisting with the development and delivery of product technical training, and assisting our customers with technical solutions to problems.

* Support the development of our new products with hands on field activities.
* Provide technical support and solutions to our customers.
* Deliver technical product training.
* Assist with the development of assembly instructions and training on our products.
* Support the development of product training.
* Support Quality efforts to identify manufacturing and design improvements.
* Assist our sales and marketing team with field facts and figures for case studies.
* Assist our sales and marketing teams to setup our equipment at trade shows.
* Support all Health and Safety Policies and Regulations, always ensuring safe working practices.

Required Criteria
* Experienced, proactive and courageous attitude towards Safety.
* Broad working experience around the setup and repair of plant machinery.
* Excellent mechanical, electrical & hydraulic skills.
* Fluent in reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attitude towards customer focus.
* Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
* Be computer literate in the usual range of Microsoft products.
* Able to work effectively with a range of diversified cultures.
* Available and dedicated to travel regularly.
Desired Criteria
* Experience working around the Crushing and Screening industry.
* Experience around the applications of crushing, screening, and material processing.
* Manufacturing / fabrication skills & experience.
* Recognised qualification relating to mechanical or electrical engineering
