Integrated Care Clinician (Paramedic)
The post holder will undertake telephone triage assessments of patients efficiently, advising on appropriate interventions based on best clinical practice, adhering to Trust policies, protocols, and guidelines. They will work autonomously, assessing and advising callers within established guidelines.

This role offers a different way to utilize your paramedic experience, focusing on delivering patient care in a non-patient-facing environment, reducing physical strain.
Main duties of the job
NHS 111 Wales employs a multidisciplinary team including Call Handlers, Nurses, Paramedics, GPs, Pharmacists, and Mental Health Practitioners to provide online and phone-based urgent care.
You will use your clinical assessment skills to advise on a range of conditions, from minor ailments to complex emergencies, in a remote decision-making environment. As a Band 6 Triage and Assessment Paramedic, you will have decision-making autonomy supported by senior clinicians and colleagues.
