Position Overview
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration across your assigned region in the UK. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical expertise and tailored solutions. This role requires a blend of scientific knowledge, commercial acumen, and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
* Identify and engage new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical sectors.
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular visits, technical consultations, and product demonstrations.
* Collaborate with internal technical and marketing teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
* Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
* Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and seminars to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of technical sales experience.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
