As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Teacher to join our team at Crookhey Hall, Cockerham.
Job Title: Teacher
Location: Crookhey Hall, Cockerham, LA2 0HA
Salary: £31,650 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About The Role
As a Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop. This is a role that prioritises reducing paperwork time and developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. You will work in a school with a strong safeguarding culture where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in decisions.
Under the reasonable direction of the Deputy Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, carry out the professional duties of a schoolteacher as set out in the current School policies. Uphold the professional code of the GTC. Teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation and policies of the school as a fully committed member of the teaching team and as detailed in the specific duties and core standards below.

Crookhey Hall School is a Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) School which caters for boys and girls aged 10 - 17 years. We provide an educational experience that extends academic and vocational social skills, promotes personal growth and helps build self-esteem. We aim for each individual to aspire to reach their full potential and eventually leave school with the determination to make a positive contribution to society.
Crookhey Hall School is located on a 15-acre countryside setting south of Cockerham, near Lancaster. Driving licence may be beneficial due to location.
