Responsibilities
As an Area Sales Manager, you will:
* Build relationships with key customers across the North East and Yorkshire (renewable installers, EV infrastructure specialists, M&E contractors, and organisations across the public and private sectors)
* Win new business and develop existing accounts
* Promote renewable energy solutions including solar PV, EV charging, energy storage, and heat pumps
* Collaborate with branch and internal sales teams to drive growth
* Identify new market opportunities and industry trends
* Achieve sales targets and business objectives
* Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Have experience within the electrical wholesale industry
* Possess strong sales and relationship‑building skills
* Be commercially minded with the drive to identify and win new business
* Have excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Be organised, self‑motivated and capable of managing your own territory
* Hold a full UK driving licence
Previous external sales experience would be advantageous, however experienced internal sales professionals looking to progress into a field‑based role are also encouraged to apply.
