Role Purpose
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth across a defined territory by developing strong relationships with trade customers, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the full product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
· Achieve and exceed agreed sales, margin, and growth targets
· Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
· Support product launches and promotions
· Build long-term relationships with trade customers
· Conduct regular customer visits and reviews
· Act as primary commercial contact
· Work with internal teams to deliver excellent service
New Business Development
· Identify and convert new trade accounts
· Expand Decora’s footprint in the territory
· Represent Decora at trade events
Product & Brand Representation
· Promote Decora’s full product range
· Deliver product training and demonstrations
· Act as a brand ambassador
Market Insight & Reporting
· Monitor competitor activity
· Provide market feedback
· Maintain CRM and sales reports
Skills & Experience
* Ability to work autonomously and to travel throughout the territory.
* Ambitious, self-motivated and target driven individual, eager to generate new business and sustain growth for the organisation.
* Experience of dealing with large number of customers
* Full, clean current driving licence
* Highly customer focused with a proven ability to build and sustain effective long-term customer relationships.
* Minimum of 3 years’ recent, relevant field experience of direct selling to trade customers.
* Must have experience of B2B, multiple product/multi brand sales
* Travel to our Head Office site in Northern Ireland and Birmingham to attend monthly sales meetings and support customer visits.
