Job Description: Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OF4 to serve as Cyber Mission Assurance Adviser & Projects Officer at MOD Corsham on ADC Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of June 2026.
Unit Role
DCEMF is Defence's lead for the Cyber & Electromagnetic (CyEM) Domain. It provides leadership across the Military Commands for CyEM activities, ensuring coherence, coordination and unity of effort.
Position Role
Provide delivery and advice to the development, use and training of Cyber Mission Assurance across DCEMF and wider UK Defence.
Responsibilities
* Provide advice and guidance across DCEMF, and as directed, on CMA doctrine and how to apply it to DCEMF tasks.
* Maintain Defence CMA doctrine, working with Defence Futures and other stakeholders (e.g., DCA / IWC) as required.
* Maintain a body of CMA training material, including Joint Tactics, Techniques & Procedures (JTTP).
* Teach DCEMF / wider Defence / NATO / coalition entities on CMA to be competent on CMA. Conduct Master Classes as required.
* Support CMA operational tasks as directed, including with NATO, 5‑Eyes / coalition.
* Liaise with NATO countries and 5‑Eyes countries on CMA, to achieve collective understanding.
* Support regular DCEMF colleagues in the conduct of CMA in Ops / Exs in 2026 – 2027, including the NATO STEADFAST and UK HIGHMAST series of events.
Essential Skills
* Must be an OF4 of any specialisation. OF3 applicants with a positive recommendation in their most recent annual OJAR/SJAR may be considered for the role and the award of Acting Higher Rank (AHR).
* OF5 applicants, if successful, will only be paid as and wear the rank of OF4.
* Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.
* Must have delivered CMA tasks.
* ISTAR or EM.
* Experience of defensive cyberspace operations.
Desirable Skills
* ACSC.
* Sub Unit Command.
* Demonstrates currency in SQEP through recent experience in the Private or Public Sectors.

Transition between TaCoS
Personnel taking this appointment from other TaCoS should consider the impact on any accrued entitlements, such as leave, resettlement etc and should seek specialist guidance where required as certain entitlements are TaCoS specific and may not be retained or transferred on transition between TaCoS.
Flexible Working Arrangements
