General Manager - FMCG ManufacturingLocation: LincolnshireWe’re looking for a commercially sharp General Manager with a strong engineering mindset to run a high volume FMCG manufacturing site. You’ll be driving operational and commercial performance, increasing output, and ensuring customers get what they need on time every time.The roleYou’ll own the full site P&L and take charge of performance across multiple automated and semi-automated production lines. Key responsibilities include:Full P&L accountability and delivery of operational resultsLeading engineering driven initiatives to boost output, efficiency and reliabilityManaging a complex multi-line FMCG operationOverseeing automated production assets and ensuring peak performanceTracking yield, waste, downtime and labour efficiency through formal KPIsMaintaining a strong safety and quality cultureEnsuring compliance with BRC, ISO and internal standardsLeading cross functional teams including production, engineering, QA, supply chain and logisticsCoaching and developing multi shift leadership teamsEmbedding continuous improvement focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency and process optimisationWhat we’re looking forProven senior leadership experience in FMCG or high volume manufacturingStrong technical and process understanding in production environmentsEngineering mindset with proactive problem solving skillsSolid commercial and P&L acumenExperience in KPI driven, data led environmentsStrong grounding in food safety, quality systems and complianceMulti shift operations and workforce scheduling experienceConfidence operating in structured, matrixed organisationsThe environmentThis is a large, high output site with significant automation and integrated logistics.
