SENIOR UNDERWRITER (Commercial Insurance)
SALARY NEGOTIABLE (up to Circa £120,000)
LONDON BASED- FLEXIBLE HYBRID WORKING
THE OPPORTUNITY:
I am working with an innovative MGA seeking to expand their presence in a range of professional markets. Their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence have positioned them for significant growth, and we're looking for a key player to drive their expansion.
They are seeking an experienced International Underwriter to join the team and lead their efforts in developing new business across global markets. This role offers substantial autonomy and the potential for significant reward for the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and execute underwriting strategies for international markets
* Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
* Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients
* Analyse and price complex risks across various international jurisdictions
* Collaborate with brokers and reinsurers to structure innovative solutions
* Contribute to the development of new products and expansion into new territories
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proven track record in a niche area of commercial underwriting,
* In-depth knowledge of global insurance markets and regulatory environments
* Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex risks
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
