Role Overview This role is to support the testing of software and electromechanical products within Sitehop’s product range. The position would suit an experienced Test Engineer with 2 years of commercial experience who is comfortable with a wide scope of responsibility including Test Case Management and implementation whilst working alongside a multidisciplined team. We are a small team at Sitehop, and this hire will be a big part of our validation capability, reporting into the Lead Test Engineer. We need a versatile engineer who is happy to work on physical products with meticulous record keeping. Key Responsibilities Full ownership of test planning and implementation Author, review and maintain technical documents in line with Sitehop systems and process Actively participate in all aspects of Test ranging from early stage smoke testing through to complex functional and integration tests Essential Requirements Relevant degree (Electronics Design, Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineering etc. etc) with proven industrial experience in a Test capacity Comfortable working with small teams of cross discipline engineers (firmware/software/mechanical etc.) Test automation experience using tools such as python Familiar with relevant tools such as Jira, Testmo, TestStand etc. Comfortable in a role with a wide scope Desirable Requirements Any experience of server or networking equipment and encryption devices is beneficial Knowledge of any programming languages is also useful Experience of FCC/UL/CE/UKCA type approvals is beneficial Why join Sitehop?
