Adults Social Worker - Mental Health Supported Accommodation, Essex County Council
Location: Colchester, Essex – the team works on a county‑wide basis and may involve working from home, supported living sites or the local office.
About The Team
You will work in the Mental Health Supported Accommodation Model, a silver award winner for “Team of the Year” at the Social Work Awards 2025. The team is small, specialist and supports people with complex mental health difficulties, including co‑existing challenges such as homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse and contact with the criminal justice system. Partner work with EPUT and housing is essential. The team operates a mixture of working from home, in supported living schemes and at the local office.
