Job Title: Experienced Social Worker – Child safeguarding Team
Location: Swindon
Rate: Up to £45 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Safeguarding team in Swindon.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will manage a caseload, including high-risk cases related to child protection, care and support, deprivation of liberty, court actions, and school attendance. You will support at-risk adults and children, and their families. Your duties include assessments, care planning, and coordinating external support within budget. You will collaborate with various services, adapt social work techniques to individual needs, and ensure plans are evidence-based and regularly reviewed. You will safeguard the welfare of at-risk individuals, make decisions in their best interest, and respond to immediate cases as part of a duty system. Additionally, you will mentor colleagues and students, conduct best interest assessments, prepare court reports, and chair meetings with team managers.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you should have a full UK driving licence and a Social Work qualification at degree level or equivalent. At least two years of experience as a social worker within children’s services is also required.
