Role and responsibilities
* Support customers in service operations, maintain regular communications, and resolve all customer concerns within planned timescales.
* Log, investigate, and coordinate root cause analysis reviews to understand causes of in-service failures.
* Participate in design reviews of new product development to ensure lessons learned are applied to new designs and reduce ISI issues.
* Provide engineering support to the Part 145 Facility.
* Conduct drawing changes to reflect new material requirements with regard to obsolescence.
Qualifications and experience
* Essential: Experienced user of CATIA V5 (or other 3D CAD packages); good understanding of manufacturing processes, design for manufacture and assembly.
* Desirable: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification; experience of engineering data requirements.
Competencies and behaviours
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work unsupervised / self-motivated.
* Good teamwork and ability to communicate at all levels.
