Job Description
Our client is seeking an Account Manager FMCG / Commercial Retail Analyst to join there team on a fixed term contract (November - end of March, with the possibility of an extension) who would support the Commercial Team from an admin, system, detail perspective while they go to the grocery trade with some cost price increases.

The process is that we have to write to each retailer detailing out the cost price increase, the reasons why, how we can help them still achieve their profit and not lose sales, and then we have up to 12 weeks to work through all the negotiations and to do things behind the scenes on the admin side of things. What this would mean is to help the Commercial team prepare letters to the retailers, help them monitor/track and trace replies and agreements, keeping the email trail and then, going into each of the retailer systems (each of them is different and accessed by the web) to update their portals so that when the prices are agreed the change is seamless as well as notifying their Masterdata team with the changes. So, an attention to detail, being able to be very, very organised, good with systems and self-sufficient is key.
