About the role
We are looking to recruit an ambitious Senior Tax Manager to join our growing Tax Team as the lead technical specialist on Property Stamp Taxes (namely SDLT, LTT, ATED, and to a lesser degree, LBTT). Candidates with a particular specialization within real estate, such as VAT or Capital Taxes, are also encouraged to apply.
Most Property Tax experts come from careers advising on other major taxes, such as VAT, Real Estate, or Capital Taxes, as part of a wider tax team. Our large client base includes land and property sector clients, and your work will predominantly involve these projects.
You will work with a diverse range of clients, from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to expanding corporates, engaging in various interesting and challenging tax advisory projects that will benefit your clients.
Mentoring and coaching junior team members to develop into accomplished tax advisors will be a key part of this role. Additionally, you will support our business development activities as we continue to expand within the Midlands market.
With support from our Tax Partners, you will have opportunities to further develop your skills and knowledge to progress toward a Tax Director role.
This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working—whether from the office, home, or a client site—to help you achieve a good work-life balance while delivering excellent client service.
