Contract & Benefits Salary: £25,000 (rising to £27,000 for the right candidate); reviewed July 2026 Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Sailsbury Holiday: 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays) Scope: Primarily UK operations, with potential involvement in overseas business units in the future In this role you will be reporting to the Operation Manager and your key responsibilities will include: Operations Support * Assist in maintaining and tracking the delivery schedule in line with customer orders * Support the preparation and packing of goods ready for dispatch * Ensure accurate product labelling and adherence to packaging standards * Conduct regular stock checks and help maintain an organised, efficient warehouse environment * Support general upkeep and tidiness of the operational unit * Assist with invoice preparation and coordination alongside the Office Manager Technical Support & Production * Provide hands-on technical assistance where required * Assemble components and assist with part building (e.g., basic soldering and fitting to specification) – full training will be provided Export & Logistics * Work with the Operations Manager to assist with export documentation and shipping requirements * No prior export experience is required – training will be given Event Support * Help the Business Development and Office teams prepare equipment for exhibitions and trade shows * Occasional attendance at trade shows to support setup and logistics Ideal Candidate Profile * Strong attention to detail and reliability * Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment * Excellent teamwork and communication skills * Hands-on, adaptable, and proactive approach to problem-solving * Willingness to learn and support across different areas of the business * Practical experience in logistics, stores, or equipment handling from a military role would be highly relevant This is a great opportunity for a service leaver or veteran looking to transition into a supportive, multifaceted operations role within a growing business. Full training will be provided where needed. This is a small company, and you will be expected to get stuck into all aspects of the company’s operation as everyone from the MD down are all hands on and they are looking for team players to help propel their life saving product across all military sectors.
