We are recruiting for a Production Manager to join our team at our Kevington Midlands Factory in Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 6.

Key Responsibilities
* The development and promotion through effective communication of Company, Factory and team plans and their focused implementation to achieve defined objectives.
* People management, motivation and structured development of the team through performance reviews to ensure delivery of objectives through teamwork.
* Rigorous application of the Ibstock Manufacturing system to deliver continuous improvement across all areas of manufacturing.
* Implementation of and adherence to all Company and Factory control procedures to ensure compliance with statutory Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
* The collection, analysis and use of production and process data to develop and achieve key targets and objectives.
* Development of systems and standards to deliver world-class housekeeping using the 5S principles.
* Procurement of production materials, goods and services within defined areas of the production environment.
* Effective interdepartmental liaison to achieve defined objectives.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* A proven track record in a continuous manufacturing environment at the level advertised or above.
* A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to self-manage and adapt to changing business needs.
* Ability to understand, accept and achieve targets and deadlines.
* Demonstrable organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures.
* Leadership and people management skills with the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team.
* Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem solving techniques.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all departments and levels of the business.
