Derby College Group (DCG) are seeking a SEND Caseworker to manage and coordinate the colleges response to EHCP consultations and act as a key link between the college and Local Authorities (LAs). This role involves working across our main college sites.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated, committed and knowledgeable professional to lead the coordination of the colleges response to EHCP consultations and act as the main liaison with Local Authorities and external education providers. In this role, you will provide case management and specialist support for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring a smooth transition into college and promoting inclusive planning. You will be responsible for maintaining timely and accurate communication around placements, provision, and statutory duties, while supporting the colleges compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.
