Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Infant Feeding Supporter Worker to join the St Helens Wellbeing Team. You will support parents from pregnancy through to introducing solid foods, providing a compassionate and organised service.
Responsibilities
* Deliver one‑to‑one. phone, home visits and group sessions supporting infant feeding.
* Promote responsive, evidence‑based infant feeding practices across the borough.
* Use IT systems and digital tools to maintain contact with local families.
* Travel across the borough to meet families’ needs.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday 8am–8pm, Weekends and Bank Holidays 10am–4pm. Shifts will be allocated within these times and flexibility is essential.
Qualifications
* Passion for supporting families and empathy towards parents.
* Ability to build trust and confidence delivering sessions.
* Organisation and motivation to make a difference to families’ lives.
* Full training will be provided. Experience is welcome but not required.
