Wrap Around Care (After School Club) Manager Required:
Location- Weybridge, Surrey
Start- September 2025
Pay- £90-£120/day (2:30-6:15)
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and organised Wrap Around Care (after school club) manager to be responsible for the development and daily management of our popular after school club (OSCAR) starting in September 2025.
It cares for up to 60 pupils aged between 4 and 7 and is situated within the school grounds, in a beautiful environment with excellent resources.
The Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and experiences to support pupils’ development
-Brief other extended provision staff so they’re aware of how the activities will run
- Offer educational instruction where needed to help pupils to share equipment
- Supervise pupils during activities and help to resolve issues between pupils
- Monitor pupils that aren’t engaging in play and feed back any concerns to class teachers
-Manage stock of resources necessary to carry out planned activities
The successful candidate will be someone who:
- Is positive, supportive and hardworking
- Is able to plan and provide safe, creative play for young children
- Has excellent communication skills with children and adults alike
- Enjoys leading and working as part of a happy, dedicated team
- Has undertaken or is willing to undertake, Designated Safeguarding Lead training
Qualifications and Experience Required:
-Minimum Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent) or a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Designated Safeguarding Lead training – or willing to undertake this training as a priority
-Experience and understanding of supporting children with SEND and emotional needs and the ability to create an inclusive environment in which all children can thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
