Flora Care Solutions provide specialist therapeutic residential care to children with Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. We are an expanding company offering career development and growth. We currently have Support Worker positions available in our brand new 3 bed home in Maghull. Our Manager and Operations Manager have a strong leadership background with positive outcomes with Ofsted regulators.

Responsibilities
* Be accountable to the Manager, Deputy Manager and Team Leaders
* Assist children with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and educational support
* Safeguard each young person at all times in line with organisation policy and procedure
* Provide a high standard of care and support, in a professional manner, to vulnerable young people with behaviours of concern
* Develop a good working relationship with children and young people, their families, and other outside agencies; be the person each child can trust through building positive relationships
* Be part of a team that creates a loving, stable environment to ensure positive outcomes and learning experiences
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs
* Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
* Drive to various locations as required for outings or appointments
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress toward goals
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care
* Engage children in recreational activities that promote social skills and emotional well-being
* Support in duties as required
Skills and Experience
* Level 3 or 4 Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent – or willing to work towards
* 1 year’s experience supporting young people in a children’s residential setting or equivalent
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and reporting
* Understanding of child development principles and ability to implement care plans
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others thrive
