Randstad is hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in a busy warehouse environment. This is an ongoing contract offering a competitive hourly rate and a variety of benefits. Role: Warehouse Operative Place of work: Sittingbourne We offer: £13/hr PAYE Working hours: 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday: 6am - 2pm/10am -6pm (weekly rotating shift) Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of goods within a warehouse environment. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching items. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised work space and adhering to all safety regulations. Specifically the activities will be: Your daily activities will involve tasks such as loading and unloading goods from vehicles, operating warehouse equipment (training provided where necessary), picking orders according to customer requirements, packing goods securely for dispatch, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also participate in regular stock checks and assist with any other warehouse duties as required. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking and have a positive attitude. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Requirements/Skills Good attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Must be physically fit as the role involves manual handling.
