Coordinate and deliver effective cover for absent teachers, ensuring lessons are supervised with appropriate work, resources, and a clear focus on learning. Promote a positive learning environment by supporting student engagement, maintaining high standards of behaviour, and reinforcing school expectations. Implement school policies and procedures consistently, including those relating to Climate for Learning, registration, and health and safety. Provide flexible support across the school when not covering lessons, including supervising students, assisting with interventions, and undertaking administrative tasks such as invigilation or reprographics.
