About the Role
Southern Water is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join their Wastewater Process Engineering Team based in Brighton. Working as part of a dynamic and multiskilled team, you will provide technical support in producing design deliverables on wastewater treatment projects and supporting site operations.
What You Will Be Responsible For
* Produce process calculations, control philosophies, process flow diagrams, process and performance specifications, P&IDs, compliance and commissioning plans.
* Lead innovative process solutions contributing to TOTEX efficiencies.
* Provide expertise in improving site performances, support commissioning activities, implement optimisation measures and troubleshoot wastewater treatment plants.
* Mentor junior process engineers.
* Analyse data to evaluate performance of existing assets and develop process solutions.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
* An MEng/BEng/BSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
* Ideally a Chartered member of a relevant professional institution.
* Proven and demonstrable experience in delivering wastewater or water projects and site operation support for UK Water Companies.
* Background in water/consultancy.
