Responsibilities
* Provide high standards of cleanliness within the Neonatal Unit, including environmental cleaning as per schedules, audit compliance, and ensuring bed spaces are cleaned each shift and on patient discharge.
* Ensure safe storage of equipment and consumables, restocking bed spaces as per the set-up guide.
* Maintain safety and security for patients, staff and visitors, including the use of the patient security tagging system.
* Maintain and monitor the use of resources to ensure continuous service delivery.
* Assist in reducing healthcare‑associated infections by adhering to Trust infection‑prevention policies.
* Support the achievement and maintenance of high standards of patient care.
* Work within your own capabilities while supporting the multidisciplinary team and acting in the best interests of patients and families.
* Provide support during procedures and assist with admissions and discharges, including documentation, observations, and equipment preparation.
* Prioritise your own workload effectively.

We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Band 2 Clinical Support Worker on the Neonatal Unit at Russell’s Hall Hospital. Our service puts babies and their families at the heart of everything we do, delivering holistic, compassionate, and individualised care during the most important moments of their lives.
