Payrate: £95-£115 per day (Depending on experience)

Are you a Teaching Assistant with sports coaching experience who can inspire students both in the classroom and on the field?
GSL Education are searching for an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant with Sports Coaching experience to work in a supportive school in Rotherham (S25). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated TA with sports coaching skills to support students academically while also contributing to PE lessons, sports activities, and enrichment sessions.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support learning in the classroom, while also using your coaching background to encourage teamwork, confidence, and physical activity. The successful Teaching Assistant with Sports Coaching will be energetic, positive, and confident working with children of different abilities.
Main Duties:
* Support students in lessons as a classroom Teaching Assistant
* Assist with PE lessons, sports sessions, and outdoor activities
* Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
* Help promote positive behaviour and student engagement
* Encourage teamwork, confidence, and participation through sport
* Support teachers with classroom preparation and supervision
Essential Requirements:
* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Sports Coach, or similar role
* Background in sports coaching, PE, or youth activities
* Ability to motivate and engage students
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
* An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
