Conduct accurate diagnostics and triage to identify vehicle faults efficiently
Determine whether repairs can be carried out independently or need to be delegated
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs complying with manufacturer standards
Maintain high levels of productivity and work efficiently to meet repair times
Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure workshop efficiency
Keep up-to-date with the latest vehicle diagnostics technology through manufacturer-led training
Ensure high-quality repair and servicing standards across all tasksRequirements for the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician position:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
Proven diagnostic skills, with experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Ability to work accurately and efficiently, demonstrating attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Previous experience in a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential
